MARKETING DIRECTOR
Job Description
- Identify short and long-term goals for marketing effectiveness,
recommend options and courses of action, and implement directives.
- Obtain market share by gathering data and developing
marketing plans and programs for each product.
- Liaise with sales department to develop and coordinate
promotional campaigns
- Develop marketing programs, determining company presence
at conventions, trade associations, and seminars.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge
by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, networking, and participating in
professional societies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a marketing-related position
- Must be able and willing to travel extensively throughout North America, with some
international travel also required
- Must possess strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills
Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) software
- Experience with hardware peripherals or software systems for the retail industry
